How Pakistan Law Assistant Works: Cited Pakistani Law Search
Ask your question in English or Urdu. The assistant searches the legal documents in its library, writes a structured answer with numbered citations, and lets you open the exact passage behind each one so you can check it.
It gives legal information and research help. It does not give legal advice.
How do you search Pakistani law with Pakistan Law Assistant?
In four steps: ask, find, understand, verify. You type a question in English or Urdu, the assistant searches the legal documents in its library for the passages that bear on it, writes a structured answer, and you open the numbered citations to read the exact source text.
Step 1: Ask in English or Urdu
Write the question the way you would ask a colleague. You do not need the name of the Act or the section number. You can limit the search to the Constitution, Acts and ordinances, rules and regulations, or case law, and attach your case file as background.
Step 2: Find the relevant passages
The assistant can only draw on the documents loaded into its library, so coverage depends on what has been uploaded. If the library does not contain enough, it is instructed to say so instead of guessing.
Step 3: Understand a structured answer
The answer has a fixed shape: a short answer, the relevant provisions with numbered citations, an analysis of conditions, exceptions, procedure and penalty, and a note on gaps or amendments to check.
Step 4: Verify against the source
Open any citation to read the passage it was drawn from, with its document and page number, and copy it for your notes. Always compare important points with the official gazette before relying on them.
